Nagasawa Kobe INK

Founded in 1882, Nagasawa Bungu Center is one of Japan’s most enduring stationery specialists, recently celebrating over 140 years of dedicated work. Among fountain pen enthusiasts, the name Nagasawa is almost synonymous with Kobe INK. Monogatari means “story,” and every colour reflects a distinct chapter of Kobe’s identity.

Their fountain pens are exclusive editions created for Nagasawa in collaboration with leading Japanese pen makers.

Alongside the core Monogatari range, Nagasawa also releases Special Colour editions, including limited releases and collaborative inks inspired by cultural institutions, landmarks, and regional themes.

Nagasawa fountain pen inks are known for their balanced performance. They have beautiful shading and occasional sheening, but they are suitable for daily writing.
