Nagasawa - Fountain Pen Ink - Kobe INK Story - No.34 Sorakuen Tea Green
Founded in 1882 in Kobe, Japan, Nagasawa is a heritage stationery company known for writing tools and inks that celebrate local culture.
The Kobe INK Monogatari fountain pen ink line was developed by Nagasawa Bungu Center. Each ink is inspired by a specific place, landmark, or story from Kobe and its surrounding areas. The collection aims to capture the city’s atmosphere through colour, from the shades of the sea and mountains to the tones of historic streets and cultural sites. The series has become one of Japan’s most recognised regional ink collections.
Sorakuen Tea Green is inspired by the serene Japanese garden of Sorakuen, nestled in Kobe’s Kitano district. The soft green mirrors the tranquil beauty of the garden’s foliage and its harmony with traditional Japanese landscape design.
