Vinta - Fountain Pen Ink - Standard - Terracotta (Damili 1572)
Vinta inks are obsessively designed and meticulously mixed in the Philippines using high quality ingredients. The Vinta inks come in a 30mL amber glass bottle and are suitable for fountain pen or calligraphy use.
Each colour has a story to tell, related to the local culture or history. Vigan, Ilocus Sur is a UNESCO world heritage site renowned for its Spanish-Filipino architecture and terra-cotta / red clay craftsmanship. Damili is the Ilocano term for moulding. Over the years, it has become a family tradition to pass down the knowledge and artform to the younger generation and that is why today there is still a thriving community of Damili producers in the region. 1572 is the year the Spanish colonisers first explored this region in the northern part of the Philippines.
As part of the Vinta Initiative, a portion of each ink bottle sale is donated to the Teach for the Philippines Inc., which helps Filipino children access quality education.
