No.79 Tamon Kakitsubata is drawn from Kissho-san Tamon-ji temple in Tarumi – a Heian-era temple where Jikaku Daishi is said to have planted nearly 3,000 iris (kakitsubata) on his return from China. A purple inspired by those flowers.
