Nagasawa - Fountain Pen Ink - Kobe INK Special - Kitano Antique Sepia
Founded in 1882 in Kobe, Japan, Nagasawa is a heritage stationery company known for writing tools and inks that celebrate local culture.
The Kobe INK Special Colour series is a collection of fountain pen inks that go beyond the standard Monogatari line. These are released as limited editions or collaborations (e.g. with local landmarks, institutions, or cultural elements). They often carry deeper thematic significance. Across the line, the inks tend to emphasise a balance of aesthetic expressiveness (shading, occasional sheening) while remaining suitable for daily writing.
Inspired by the former Kitano Elementary School near Ijinkan in Kobe, Kitano Antique Sepia expresses the warm tones of the historic structure. This is a deep walnut brown leaning purple with some green sheen in large swabs.
